The Arrival is a new theatre production developed by Tamasha & Circus Space based on a Shaun Tan's graphic novel.
We follow a migrant who bids farewell to his family to begin a new life in strange country. Interweaving stories of hope, fear, persecution and new beginnings, Tan, in his book, creates a surreal and fantastical world of alien creatures, strange encounters and shapeshifting buildings.
This unique theatre-circus production is integrated with film sequences by Barry Lewis & Emil Charlaff and is being developed into a major production
